Dye Sublimation Printing Fabrics & Garment

The dye sublimation printing process on to the fabric utilizes a 4-color printing process almost to an inkjet printer but the color is used CMYO (Cyan-Magenta-Yellow-Overprint. The overprint ends up black through some chemical process. The ink set is printed onto a special paper which is called dye sublimation transfer paper. This part of the process is similar to digital inkjet printing and it becomes popular as a standard style of printing.

An image or photograph passes through the printer, and it prints the image, in reverse, onto a sheet of transfer media, a treated paper. It is then penetrated to the chosen fabric, and sent through another unit with heated pressure rollers. These rollers heat up to certain temperature, and with the heat and the pressure, the dye changes from a solid to a gas, and fuses itself to the polyester fabric, creating a continuous tone print much like a photograph. RCPL is offering the dye sublimation printing on to the fabric such as polyester fabric that are used in clothing and advertising displays and banners, and many other items.
